The Most Important Photo of My New York Life

Tomorrow is the day I finally become a real New Yorker.

I'm getting an NY state driver's license, since my Cali one is about to expire. And of course I've given a lot of thought to how I should do my hair in the new photo (the old one still pictures the 16-year-old version of me).

If I want to get fancy, maybe I'll try this woven braid look from Alexander McQueen spring 2011.

To the Salon!

I know I'm all about the hair lately because I watched The City for the first time this season, and the only thing I could think about was how Oliva Palermo was BRUNETTE! This girl used to be very blond. It looks like the transformation happened in a few steps. I've considered going blond several times, but I don't think I can commit that kind of time (and money, let's be honest) to a salon.
